On July 23, 2026, the Society for Ecological Restoration (SER), ran a webinar to present The Global Biodiversity Standard Mentoring Program, a capacity-building initiative designed to help ecosystem restoration practitioners, strengthen biodiversity outcomes and improve project quality.
The Mentoring Program is distinct from TGBS independent assessment and certification. It offers practical guidance to help practitioners manage risk in project design, strengthen biodiversity outcomes, and apply best practices across a range of restoration contexts.
